Sliding Rock, Asheville NC

Ok, sliding down a waterfall in late October might not be everyone's idea of fun, but why not??!!

We decided to go to Sliding Rock and although it was only 65 degrees outside and the water was in the 50's, we jumped in and slid down!

Never let it be said that the Bennett or the Sloan families pass by an any opportunity!

  1. Hi Camping Family!

New blog looks great, looks like we are following some of your travels. We came down the 101 from Oregon and did the Redwoods and San Francisco. We’ve ended up working at a campground outside Solvang, CA. When we get back east we’ll have to hook up!

  3. You're more adventurous than I am- though I'm sure this would be awesome in warmer weather, the thought of sliding into the cold October water made my bones hurt just looking at the pictures!:) I'm sure it was unforgettable!
